Just in case you ever need to establish service with SBC or what is now AT&T, you may want to make a note of this information. This info will potentially save you over 40 minutes looking for the correct number only to find it buried as a very small text link inside of a pop-up window.

To SBC:Â Look I get it is expensive to maintain call centers, but when your fancy dandy automated address verification tool does not work, you really should make it a little easier for potential new customers to find a number with a human on the other end!
Just to make sure I was not completely out of line I tried my standard on the Verizon website and sure enough five clicks, and BAM a phone number with a live attendant…total process three minutes.
Same exercise with Sprint; even better this time three clicks and WAMO…live attendant here we go.
